Get ready for a day filled with fun, fall vibes, and community spirit at the 13th Annual Fall Fest in the International District.
Scheduled for this Saturday, October 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., this popular event will be held at the International Community Garden at 8409 1/2 Dairy View. The District invites families from all over Southwest Houston to celebrate the changing of the seasons together.
Best of all, admission is FREE!

The Fall Fest has become a signature event in the International District, known for celebrating not just the arrival of fall but also the vibrant tapestry of cultures within the community.
Expect a diverse array of vendors at the event, featuring delicious food options, local arts and crafts, jewelry, and educational resources from institutions like YES Prep.

In addition to browsing vendor booths, families can look forward to plenty of entertaining activities, including free pumpkins for the first 250 kids to arrive, a costume contest for all ages to showcase their Halloween spirit, and a petting zoo.
Professional face painters will also be on-site, transforming children into butterflies, superheroes, and more, all for free. Various games and bounce houses will be scattered throughout the garden, perfect for keeping the kids entertained while they burn off some energy.

And don’t miss the pie-eating contest, cheerleaders, and other performers, like stilt walkers!
The International Community Garden serves as a beautiful backdrop for the festival and stands as a pillar of the district.
Designated parking will be available at the Youngblood School parking lot.

The Fall Fest isn’t just a day of entertainment; it is a celebration of community and culture in the International District.
Join us on October 18 for this exciting event, filled with activities for all ages. Remember, pumpkins are limited — arrive early to ensure you grab one!
