How We Keep the District Safe

The District invests in a layered set of programs — from patrols to enforcement to street-lighting upkeep — that work together to protect residents and businesses.

Proactive Enforcement

A team enforcement effort across multifamily communities and business centers, deterring crime by addressing problems early.

Nuisance Abatement

Working with the Harris County Attorney to address problem properties and protect the community’s quality of life.

Private Security Patrols

S.E.A.L. officers patrol the District’s commercial corridors seven days a week, building trust with local business owners.

Street Lighting Surveys

Regular inspections of main corridors for outages, reported promptly to CenterPoint Energy to keep streets well lit at night.
