On Saturday, April 8 the International District held its annual Kite Festival on the grounds of the Alief Community Park and Gardens. Over 300 folks were on hand to join in the kite flying contest and to enjoy music, the monthly farmers market, and more. The event is held the 2nd Saturday in April each year.
