The new episode of the Alief ISD podcast series – ImpactED – has been posted. In the “Creating College-Bound Students” episode, Superintendent Chambers chats with Tracy Scholz (Alief ISD Advanced Academics Coordinator) and two Alief ISD AVID high school students regarding the district’s Advanced Academics Program. They covered the many aspects of advanced academics, including the gifted and talented program, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination), college dual credit opportunities and other advanced academics offerings.
