There are many reasons why people throughout the Houston area still prefer to wear face masks to prevent being infected with COVID-19 or to prevent infecting others.
Now a Los Angeles-based donor is volunteering to send 200,000 free masks for distribution in the International Management District. But first they have to be shipped here by truck at a cost of $5,500.
Fortunately, International Management District Chairman Wea Lee and board member Dr. Nancy Mai have generously agreed to share the cost.
